From the Tourist Board office in Nals, turn right into the Goldgasse. On the left hand side of the bakery the Nachtigallenweg begins. Take this road, past Castle Payersberg and walk on to Obersirmian. Just above Gasthaus Apollonia (St. Apollonia chapel, dated 13th Century), turn right and follow the trail ascending in the direction of St. Jakob. Pass the St. Jakob chapel and walk in the direction of Grissian and Prissian. From here, follow path no. 2, past the ruins of the Pfeffersburg and walk to Nals.
