Following Sissi’s footsteps between the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle and the heart of Meran

Sissi, the popular Empress Elisabeth of Austria, loved extensive walks in and around Meran. Past quiet corners, majestic villas, enchanted houses and old parks, this path leads from the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle to the town centre of Meran. Of course, you can also go Sissi’s Walk in the opposite direction. Signs saying „Sissi – Weg“ help with the orientation. The path is also suitable for people with children’s pushchairs and wheelchairs.
