Ponte di Tel – Plars di Sopra e di Mezzo – Lagundo Paese (Grabbach) – Quarazze (St. Magdalena)
The
Lagundo irrigation channel road has two parts and is 5 to 6 km long. It runs along an irrigation channel on the plain and offers you beautiful viewing points onto the
Adige Valley. The Western part begins at the car park at the Töllgraben Bridge, which can be reached with the Algund-Partschins bus or by car. The road leads you to
Plars di Sopra and Plars di Mezzo to the Grabbach and the picturesque Lagundo Paese. From there, you can ascend via the Burgweg to Plars di Mezzo or via Lagundo Paese to the centre of Riomolino. The Eastern part of the road leads you through picturesque vineyards to Quarazze and to the S. Maddalena chapel. You can either walk on if you like, or return from there to
Lagundo.
The Tappeiner footpath continues on to Merano from the end of the irrigation channel at Quarazze.
