The Soirees in the Castle of Tirol are held every year in June and July, on five Thursdays. They are among the most popular summer events in South Tirol. The soirees were introduced in 1990, the 850th anniversary of the castle. The outstanding performances of medieval and Renaissance music come with a rich historical support programme and are set against the background of the impressive Castle, making it’s medieval spirit come alive. 

At the entrance you will be welcomed by festive early music and offered a welcome drink prepared according to a medieval recipe. You will be captivated by the atmosphere of the huge Castle, giving an impression of how medieval society celebrated it’s most joyous moments.
During the interval you can taste some delicacies from the wine cellar and delicious and tasty culinary specialities, from original medieval recipes.
A last highlight is offered after the concert, when the walk back to the centre of the village Dorf Tirol will be illuminated by more than a hundred torches.
