Gourmet Market Merano

After the huge response over the past number of years the Gourmet Market Merano will be held again in June on the Spa Promenade along the river Passiria in Merano. The market hosts small producers from South Tyrol and all over Italy that produce tasty organic food and grocieries in an ecological and environmentally friendly way.

„Back to nature, but in the slow way!“ This is the unwritten motto of the Gourmet Market, that has developed along with the Slow Food movement that began in Italy 15 years ago, and with the developement of a new ecological consciousness for high quality products including food and wines. In keeping with ecological expectations the market takes place alongside the river Passer promenade where one can stroll in the fresh air and take time to look, compare, taste and enjoy.
Savour the wide culinary variety of Italy, strolling alongside many well-kept flowerbeds, palm trees and floral sculptures.
