The gate to the Nature Park
The holiday resorts of Parcines, Rablà and Tel are located in the midst of the Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park – a wonderful location offering a wide range of holiday persuits.
More than 200 kilometres of well marked paths invite hikers to discover this unique environment and the miscellaneous flora of the largest national park in Alto Adige.
A special attraction is the Parcines waterfall, which, spanning 98 metres, is the highest waterfall in South Tyrol. So it comes as no surprise that the region is extremely popular with climbing enthusiasts. For trained and accomplished climbers crossing the waterfall is considered an exciting challenge.
Partschins, however, also provides interesting cultural attractions: Located in the picturesque village centre, the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum displays unique and unusual exhibits, such as the famous Malling Hansen, the most valuable typewriter in the world.
