Val d'Ultimo - Alta Val di Non / Ultental und Deutschnonsberg

Nature and tradition

In the natural open spaces of the Val d'Ultimo, tradition is still alive today: Farmers gardens, fertile fields and, of course, the well known farms of the Val d'Ultimo with their characteristic architecture, and their shingle roofs form this idyll far from the stress of the city.
You can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life by taking to some of the almost 600 kilometres of hiking trails that cover the valley. On these relaxing hikes, you can marvel at the surrounding vistas, places of great natural beauty, such as the impressive mountains in the Stilfs national park, some of which are more than 3000 metres high. In winter time, you can enjoy mountain skiing: The skiing area Schwemmalm, which is 2600 metres high, offers wonderful ski slopes.
Alta Val di Non, with its three main villages San Felice, Laurengo and the place of pilgrimage Senale, is also located in an endearing spot. You will find peace and rest in this quiet and remote area.
