The Riesling Days of Naturns, that soon became a popular meeting point for Riesling lovers and experts from far and wide, are held for the 4th time in November this year. After it’s great success over the past years the programme will be extended to offer guests a varied and most informative programme centered on this highly appreciated grape variety.

This year, for the first time participants include not only South Tyrolean wine growers, but also wineries from all over Italy, from among whom the winners of the Riesling Award „Riesling-Gold-Prämierung“ will be chosen. The Riesling wines will be jugded by a jury of Italian and international experts and sommeliers. Stuart Pigott, the renowned wine journalist, will again be a member of this most demanding jury.
The highlight for the audience is doubtless the final tasting event, at which all prize winning wines and a choice of the best Riesling wines of Italy can be tasted by everyone, and so appeal to the judgement of popular acclaim.
