In November Gourmet's International organizes for the 18th time the „Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria“. Every year this exclusive meeting of Gourmets and friends of exquisite quality products offer a rich variety of the best food and wine in the Kurhaus of Merano.The Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria is THE place for gourmets and connoisseurs to meet and savour a vast array of luxury wine and food in the splendid setting of the Kurhaus, a beautiful Art Nouveau building and hallmark of the town. Hundreds of renowned winemakers and producers of gourmet food from all over the world promise to make this annual event a mouth-watering experience.

The Festival will be held in conjunction with „Culinaria“, the renowned festival of traditional flavours, in the rooms of the prestigious Kurhaus in Merano. „Merano International WineFestival“ upholds a philosophy of superior quality in order to ensure it from the very beginning, as you can discover for yourself since the exhibition encourages you to taste the selected quality wines directly from producers.
The Merano Wine & Culinaria Award is bestowed on producers selected by the „Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria committee“, to encourage more and more producers in the making of high quality products.
Culinaria
Explore the wide range of tastes that are to be found in the various sausages, bacon, hams and cheeses, as well as in condiments and sauces, in dips and jams, in mustards and vinegars, in rare vegetables and wild herbs. Of course olive oil must never be overlooked and is best when combined with the traditional "Aceto balsamico" vinegar with its unique syrupy sour note. One should doubtless end the Culinaria experience with a rich, harmonious and flavoursome coffee with its intense yet balanced taste. And don’t forget to try some high quality chocolate for desert to round off the meal with a little indulgence.
